dramaturgist, director, publicist, teacher, theatre punker
As a graduate of theatre, film and masmedia studies at Palacky University in Olomouc, Klarin has always inclined toward theatrical practice. He is a founding member of the Tramtárie theatre, Ansámbl Oz! and Johnny Bůh (aka JeBe). He collaborated with the National Theatre in Brno as a dramaturgist and assistant director. He is an author of the libretto to the NTB opera 'Every Czech is a musician' staged at the Reduta Theatre, and collaborated on the stage performance of 'Angst essen Seele auf' by R. W. Fassbinder which was awarded the Balvín prize in 2017 and the Theatre Critics Award for the best female actor.
Klarin is a correspondent of the Theatre Journal, member of several theatre festival juries. He is proud blogger, casual actor, singer and lyricist of his temporarily hibernated music project 'Relationship of Donkie and Sheep', lover of smart and nice women, and a foodie.
